Q:  How do I call forward a phone to voice mail?
A:  With the handset in cradle, press #6041 850 speaker.

Q:  How do I turn off a message waiting light?
A:  With the handset in cradle, press #409 and speaker.

Q:  How do I change the time on my phone system?
A:  From Station 200 and with the handset down, press #652.  Enter time in a 24-hour format (HH:MM:SS), then press # to save.

Q:  How do I enter a personal speed dial?
A:  With the handset in cradle, press #9876, spdial key and the speed dial bin plus 9 and the number of the person whose number you want to store and press spdial key to save.

Q:  How do I make a call using a speed dial code?
A:  Press spdial key and speed dial code.

Q:  How do I make a conference call?
A:  Establish your first call, with the caller on the line, press cnf/trn, establish your second call and press cnf/trn again.

Q:  My message light is on, but when I press it, it goes to another station and not voicemail. How do I fix that?

Q:  How do I enter a personal speed dial?
A:  With the handset in cradle, press Redial key, speed dial (SDA) key, enter speed dial bin number, and the number of the person whose number you want to store and press redial key to save.
Speed dial bin numbers are 10-49.

Q:  How do I enter a system speed dial number?
A:  From Station 200 or 10 with the handset in cradle, press redial key, speed dial key (SDA), enter speed dial bin number, enter 9 plus your number to be stored and press redial key again to save.
Speed dial bin numbers for system speed dial are 60-99 or 600-699 pending system type.

Q:  How do I make a call using a speed dial code?
A:  Press spdial key and speed dial code.

Q:  How do I make a conference call?
A:  Establish your first call, with the caller on the line, press cnf/trn, establish your second call and press cnf/trn again.

Q:  When you call my phone, you get the main greeting of voicemail and not my personal voice greeting.  How do I correct that?
A:  With the handset in cradle, press intercom #656 91 xxx redial and speaker.  Then, press intercom #657 92 xxx redial and speaker.
xxx refers to  the extension number of your phone.

Q:  How do I check my voice mail from a remote location?
A:  Dial your main number for the office and at the main greeting, press *.  Follow the directions to enter mailbox number and security code.

Q:  When someone calls my extensions from our voice mail system, my phone doesnít ring.  Is my phone broken?
A:  No- Do Not Disturb is turned on in your mailbox.  To turn this off, sign on to your mailbox and press 3 to manage your mailbox and 2 to change mailbox options.  Press 1 to change do not disturb.

Q:  When people call my extension from voicemail, a voice comes on and asks for their name and company name.  What is that?
A:  That is the Call Screening feature of the voicemail system.  To turn it off, sign onto your voicemail box and press 3 to manage your mailbox and 2 for mailbox options.  Press 2 to change your call screening.

Q:  How do I get my messages out of voicemail once the light goes out?
A:  Press intercom 850, when prompted enter your mailbox security code and youíll be signed in to your mailbox.
Older systems do not ask for the security code when 850 is dialed, so press the * key at the main greeting and follow prompts to enter your mailbox number and security code.

Q:  My company is closing for a holiday.  How do I change the greeting?
A:  You dial into the voicemail system.  At the main greeting, press * and enter 990 with security code 990997.  Press 3 to manage your mailbox, 1 to change your greeting, and pick a greeting number between 1 and 7. Greeting 1 is your standard greeting, so pick number 2 and record to reflect the closure.

Q:  How do I change the greeting back?
A:  Dial into the voice mail system, at the main greeting press * and enter 990 with security code 990997.  Press 3 to manage your mailbox, 1 to change your greeting and pick a greeting number between 1 and 7.  Greeting 1 is your standard greeting, so pick number 1 and your standard greeting will be back.

***Please note: In the above examples, the voice mail access code is 850.  This is true for newer systems.  If your system is an older model, 850 may not be your access code for voice mail.  Other commonly used access codes are 250, 333, or 500.

Q:  The speaker phone feature is not working on my phone.  I can hear them, but they canít hear me.
A:  Make sure your MIC light is on by pressing the button or by dialing feature 1.

Q:  My phone stopped ringing and my feature light is flashing.  What did I do?
A:  Turned Do Not Disturb on.  To turn off, press feature 69 feature.

Q:  How do I transfer a caller right to a voice mail box?
A:  With the caller on the line, press transfer plus extension number followed by a 7.

Q:  What do I dial to hear the music on hold over the speaker of the phone?
A:  Feature 26 to turn it on, and feature 26 to turn it off.

Q:  How do I enter personal speed dials on my phone?
A:  Press feature, redial, enter in speed dial code number (80-99).  Dial 9 plus the number you want to store, press the hold key and spell the name associated with the number and press feature again.

Q:  How do I enter system speed dial codes?
A:  From station 100, press feature, redial, enter the speed dial code number 00-79, dial 9 plus the number you want to store, press hold and enter name associated with the number you wanted to save and press feature to save.
